We believe God has called us to be a beacon of hope to our community and our world. The Church of the Nazarene has no greater mission than reaching those who do not yet know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and then helping them become Christ-like disciples.
Currently through October 6 (2019), we are collecting Crisis Care Kits for those affected by Hurricane Dorian. Specific Instructions for packing CCK’s HERE.
HFCN is involved in a number of local outreach opportunities to our community throughout the year. We partner with several local organizations, which include but are not limited to Social Services, The Salvation Army, and AVA Care of Harrisonburg, to serve our community in a tangible way.
For more information on opportunities, please contact Josh Montanez.
Through our Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, and Home to Home programs, Hope Distributed is dedicated to supplying food, clothing, and furniture to individuals and families that are struggling financially, have been displaced, or who have experienced an unexpected change in their life circumstances.
Nursing Home Outreach
Our staff is committed to reaching all generations. We host regular services at area nursing homes and would love for you to be a part of this ministry with us.
For more information, please contact Pastor Roger.
We believe that in order to remain faithful to our calling to go where the church is not yet, we need to be connected across the globe, serving together to make Christlike disciples. The Church of the Nazarene is a global network of local churches organized by districts, fields, and six regions (across 162 world areas).
